WYSIWYG is short for What You See Is What You Get – it refers to the fact that as you do the editing, what you see onscreen is what you will get when you’re done with the project. WYSIWYG Web Builder applies this principle to creating websites. The application provides a means to visually design your websites. Use the application’s simple interface to create a website, preview your work, and then save it as a project, template, or HTML document.

WYSIWYG Web Builder provides support for Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, and Windows XP. You won’t have any problems installing the application on a PC powered by any of these Windows editions. Please note that you will be installing a trial version that is free to use for 30 days.

By default, WYSIWYG Web Builder uses a ribbon interface – buttons for all the features and functions are presented on a ribbon at the top; click a button and you can hide the ribbon out of sight.
If you don’t like the ribbon, you can switch to a more traditional view that features menus and toolbars. When you launch WYSIWYG Web Builder, a tip will show up and tell you how to do so.

You can get started from scratch or you can pick a template and use it as the basis for your website. You can customize every aspect of your website: the text that will be displayed, the images that will be presented on the website, the videos that will be featured on the website, and so on. A handy preview function lets you see how things will look. When you’re done, you can save your work as a project, save it as a template, save it as a HTML document, or publish it on a local folder or FTP server.

As mentioned above, the trial version of WYSIWYG Web Builder is free to use for 30 days. It must be added that the trial will put a “Built with WYSIWYG Web Builder” logo on your work.

Visually and quite easily design and publish websites with WYSIWYG Web Builder.

Pros

All Windows versions from XP to 8.1 are supported; installing WYSIWYG Web Builder on a Windows PC is a simple matter. Choose between a ribbon interface or an interface that uses menus and toolbars. Lots of templates are available; lots of editing options are available. Easily publish your website.

Cons

Trial limitations: logo on output, 30-day evaluation period, nag screen.
